CHG SPORTS THERAPY

Here at CHG Sports Therapy Ltd we offer treatment for a variety of injuries, not just sports injuries. 
If you have any aches or pains an initial consultation and assessment will be performed to identify the cause of your pain and how to reduce this. This can be done through a variety of treatment techniques, which commonly includes- massage, joint mobilisations, prescribed exercise and movement education. 
Perhaps you are not in pain but simply want to improve your technique with exercises and education or improve your overall mobility!

MY SERVICES

INITIAL ASSESSMENT & EXAMINATION + TREATMENT 

An Initial Examination & Assessment is
required if you are a first time client, or are visiting with a new injury.
This session will consist of a short subjective examination to gain a clear picture of your injury followed by a clinical assessment which will determine the treatment required.

FOLLOW UP APPOINTMENT

A follow up session; a shorter visit is required as the full examination and assessment is not required and the session consists mostly of treatment techniques and rehabilitation. 

Follow up sessions can be booked as 30 minutes, 45 minutes or 60 minutes if needed.

SPORTS MASSAGE

Initial Assessment not required.

To be booked if you are suffering muscle tightness, fatigue and soreness. A sports massage will help to reduce tightness and soreness and will improve mobility and function.

A 45 Minute massage can cover more than one body part. For example this may be legs and lower back, or back, neck and shoulders.

30 minutes is required for smaller massage or massage to just one specific area, e.g Lower back, Legs, Shoulders

If you are suffering from pain then a full assessment will be required as different treatment techniques may be required.

PERSONAL TRAINING & REHABILITATION 

Personal Training is a great way of achieving your health and fitness goals! Be it weight loss, muscle gain, strength and conditioning or general health and fitness- I can help you get there! 
Alternatively Personal Training and Rehabilitation is a fundamental part of becoming injury free! Exercise plays a valuable part in recovery and prevention of almost all injuries.

MY STORY

My name is Charlie and I started CHG Fitness in 2018, since then I have continued to develop and expand my knowledge at University- studying Sports & Exercise Therapy BSc. It was in 2020 when I qualified with first class honours and created CHG Sports Therapy. My aim is to help others become pain free, move better and understand what they can do to remain fit and healthy. Injuries do not have to be complicated, my treatment involves plenty of education. I like my patients to leave with all the knowledge they need to help themselves even more than I can help them. As it is the time between treatments that most improvements will be seen!
